What is a Dermal Filler?
A dermal filler is a product injected into target areas such as the cheeks,around the mouth, or lips, anywhere additional volume is needed for correction or enhancement. Since they are eventually absorbed by the body, the effects of dermal fillers are temporary and can last for anywhere from six months to a year.
Are Dermal Fillers Safe?
Dermal fillers are considered a non-surgical, minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment. At Refresh & Refine, we use only FDA approved fillers. Since every patient is different, we'll make sure to work with you to create a customized treatment plan that works for your skin and expectations.
What to expect:
Refresh & Refine works with you at every stage of your treatment to ensure you have a positive experience. Your nurse will discuss your options and make recommendations on the type and amount of product needed before completing the procedure. You may notice some bruising at injection sites, but generally there is no downtime and you can continue on with your day. Results will immediately be visible. Occasional swelling and bruising can result from the treatment. If so, full results will be visible after this has resolved.
